Over the years I've learned a few tricks to find quick solutions to everyday problems that make living with a dog easier.

Some I learned through articles, books and research but most of them from testing and making mistakes, many mistakes and many damages!

So here are some simple everyday tips for dog owners to make their lives easier. And I mean advices from how to keep your house clean to even how to make a first aid kit.

Sofa covers

Use covers to keep your sofa clean. This is only true if you let your dogs endlessly be on the sofas all day. If you leave them, you know very well what hair means! You can therefore use special covers, throws or sheets that can be washed in the washing machine.

The magic potion

The soda! This magic potion! You can use it to clean your dog's urine. Come on, admit it: Have you ever come back home after work and your dog looks at you with a carefree expression, as if nothing has happened, but suddenly, you notice a puddle on the floor?

You can sprinkle some baking soda on the spot, let it sit for 20 minutes and then vacuum. It also removes odors!

Carpet deodorizer

Make your own carpet deodorizer! There are some smells that you can't get rid of but you don't want to buy special products either.

You can get an applicator and fill it with water, 1 cap of fabric softener and 1 oil of your choice. Spray the carpets as well as the sofa and you will understand the difference. Try it in the car too!

Sweatshirt and pillow

Do you want to give your dog a nice comfortable place to sleep without having to buy a new bed from a store? Make him a wonderful and cool bed out of a sweatshirt and a pillow!

Muffin tins

Finally, are you looking for a simple and creative way to keep your dog's mind occupied? Everyone has muffin tins at home. So there you go!

You can create a simple puzzle game with a muffin tin, some treats and some tennis balls. He will surely go crazy! And so life goes on...
