My name is Angeliki Mavroleon and I was born with an innate interest and love for animals.

I am a graduate Medical Laboratory Technologist, a certified dog training and behavior specialist, holder of the ISFM Certificate in Feline Nursing (specializing in cat nursing), and I am continuing my further education in cat behavior (ISFM Cat Behavior Technician).

For many years, I was an active member of an animal welfare organization, aiming to care for and shelter animals until they were adopted.

Since 2021, I have been working as a Veterinary Assistant / Nurse in major veterinary clinics in Athens. I grew up with a beautiful cat, Andy, and two wonderful dogs, Mavroula and Loka. Finally, I am the proud mom of two cats, Che and Faye.

A few years ago my life didn't have so much hair. No barking either. No diapers, treats, no walks. Not so much love... My name is Panagiotis Mitsiopoulos. My relationship with dogs only started in 2015. I adopted Joey from an animal shelter. His difficult adaptation to the apartment and my own wrong handling made me turn to the solution of education in order to be able to communicate better.

I was impressed by the results that positive education brought to Joey. I saw him adopt behaviors I never thought would be real, making both of our lives easier. At the same time, I started working in dog shelters, where I gained more and more experiences with stray dogs. I noticed the problems they faced in their communication with people but also the difficulties that arose after their adoption.

So I decided to specialize in dog training and behavior, studying at the Kynagon Dog Trainers Academy in Thessaloniki.

The technique we apply is based on the methods of positive education, i.e. rewarding the behavior we want, without a trace of physical or verbal violence.

The philosophy of Positive Mindset is always well-being of the dog in the context of harmonious coexistence with humans.

Positive Mindset also participates in many philanthropic actions such as events, bazaars, seminars, free voluntary courses and shelters for stray dogs. In the eyes of our dogs we are love, purpose and journey. So let's find out together what is needed for our four-legged friend to have a better life.

My love and interest in dogs started at a very young age. I was one of the many kids who always wanted a dog but couldn't get one. My involvement in sports also started from a very young age, which along the way turned into a championship. I have been a member of the women's national basketball team for more than 10 years, I have played in foreign teams, I have won several championships and cups at home and abroad.

The reason these are important is this.. the dedication, thoroughness and discipline that required my involvement in the championship are key elements of the work I do now. the leader of his pack (in our time this role is taken by the owner of the dog), otherwise he takes over the leadership and decision-making himself and that is where the problems begin!

The purpose of training is therefore to acquire animal owner all the necessary knowledge and supplies to become the leader their dog needs to be happy!

When I became an adult I was able to get my own dog. So Brioche came into my life and changed it for me. He is responsible for my transition from sports (having a dog), to championship (training dogs). Very lively, very phobic, (he was a stray with quite a few behavioral problems) very nervous, all to his extreme.

I had to deal with him a lot, I had to learn a lot of things so that he could now be a balanced, happy dog. That's when I decided that this is what I want to do in my life.

So I trained to become a teacher!

My name is Menia Vryza, I am a veterinarian with seven years of experience in the field. I have worked both in clinics in Attica and abroad. What distinguishes me is my passion for providing care and love to animals, and my dedication to improving their quality of life.

In 2023 I decided to start CatoikonVet, a home veterinary service and online sessions, meeting the owners' need for:

• Direct communication with the vet
• Direct service at their place, due to difficulty moving their pet, or own
• Time saving
• Reduction of stress on the pet during the examination, as well as before and after it

• The services I provide mainly concern preventive medicine of dogs and cats, their pathology, as well as counseling. As for surgical cases, I work with a top-quality surgical clinic in Attica.

  A source of inspiration for me was, is and will be my beloved dog, Daisy.

I am Anthia Vraka, I am a veterinarian, a graduate of the University of Thessaly and I have been dealing with the medical care of pets for the last 6 years. The truth is that I wanted to be a veterinarian since I can remember and I always brought home a stray. I am very grateful that a lifelong dream has come true and I am doing the profession I love. I have worked in several clinics in Greece and abroad (Cyprus, Germany, Ireland) and at the moment I serve residents in almost all of Attica to provide veterinary services to pets who need it from the comfort of their own home. Also, the incidents that need to be done in veterinary clinic facilities (such as operations, x-rays, etc.), are carried out at the cooperating veterinary clinic which is in Kypseli.
